How Can I contribute to Group Health Centre?
There are so many ways to support the unique programs offered by Group Health Centre and fund necessary medical equipment.
Donating a small amount monthly is an easy way of lending your support to the Trust Fund year-round. A donation of $10 per month may not seem like much, but over time it makes a big difference in the healthcare we provide.
In-kind donations are gifts of products, services or other items. We use these in-kind donations to assist us in keeping our costs as low as possible for our events and activities as prizes in our events or donations or to recognize volunteers and supporters.
Generous individuals and businesses have made countless donations in-kind over the years, and in-kind donations can be recognized with either a charitable receipt equal to the value of the goods or services and always include recognition for your business.
Gifts of shares, stocks and securities not only provide a benefit to the Trust Fund – they help the donor as well. A recent donor of stocks who prefers to remain anonymous shared, “by donating stocks, I avoid the capital gains tax and at the same time I get a charitable receipt for my donation.” If you have shares, stocks or securities and you’d like to arrange a donation, talk to your investment advisor for more information.
No one knows how important it is to upgrade and purchase new medical equipment more than the individuals who work at Group Health Centre.

When you or a loved one passes, directing donations to the Trust Fund is a way of benefiting the future of healthcare in our community. Donors have written us into their will, made us the beneficiary of their life insurance policy, donated property and assets, and asked donations in their memory be made to the Trust Fund.
Any gift over $100, including the sum of gifts made in honour or memory of an individual, is recognized on our Donor Wall in the lobby of the Group Health Centre at 240 McNabb and recognized as a community support member on our Virtual Community Support Wall.
