SAULT STE. MARIE, ON (Nov. 6, 2023) – Marconi Multicultural Event Centre is hosting an event to support local healthcare in the community. The Original Recipe Rabbit Dinner, presented by KiSS 100.5 and Country 104.3, will be held on Friday, November 17, 2023, at The Marconi starting at 6 PM. The funds raised from the dinner will be used to purchase surgical equipment for the Group Health Centre (GHC).
“The Marconi is delighted to partner with the Group Health Centre and Rogers Media to bring a seasonal favourite back to the Sault,” said Stephen MacNamara, General Manager, The Marconi. “This Rabbit Dinner, featuring our original recipe, will serve as a bridge between the 111-year-old traditions of the Marconi Club and the progressive, inclusive mission statement of today’s Marconi Multicultural Event Centre. We invite everyone to join us for a night of delicious food for a wonderful cause.”
The Original Recipe Rabbit Dinner offers a luxurious five-course Italian meal starting with a delicious antipasti selection. This sets the stage for an evening of fine dining where guests can enjoy comfort cuisine, including a steaming bowl of chicken noodle soup. The soup has a homemade broth and tender noodles.
During the meal, diners can enjoy a classic penne dish with a rich, sun-ripened tomato sauce, a true testament to the simple pleasures of Italian cuisine. The event’s highlight is the oven-roasted rabbit, renowned for its delicate flavour and expert preparation. The rabbit is accompanied by garlic-infused rapini and golden roasted potatoes.
Pairing perfectly with the flavours of the meal, diners can enjoy a duo of selected wines. The indulgence is completed with a sweet dessert and the choice of freshly brewed coffee, tea, or espresso. This evening is designed to entice the senses and celebrate the rich tapestry of Italian culinary excellence.
Tickets for the Rabbit Dinner are $110 per person and $800 for a table of eight, and are on sale until this Friday, Nov. 10. Tickets are already almost 75% sold out – get yours today!
